    Hi Tylerasnell
Turning on the debug logging to file (not screen) would be the way to find out more about what is going wrong.

There are other ways to get your data across including exporting to file and going via WordPress.COM and then exporting from there into your hosted WordPress, I don’t have the details but a google search should get you there.

I had the same problem and found a work-around by trial and error.

When the import hangs, don’t refresh the screen or click the ‘Refresh blog list’ button.

Instead, go back to ‘Import’ in the tools menu, then click on the ‘Blogger’ option again.

You should then find that there’s a ‘continue’ button against the blog you’re importing. Click that and, with any luck after a short delay, the import should pick up again where it left off.

Depending on the size of the import the process is likely to hang again a number of times. The only solution seems to be to repeat as necessary until the job’s done.

Just don’t click that ‘Refresh blog list’ button or you may have to start the process over again from the beginning.
