Still locked out, even after deleting plugin

  • Hi,
    I have just taken ownership of a site, and having got my password wrong I am now locked out. I have deleted the plugin, no joy. I have re-installed the plugin and changed the parameters to only be locked out for 2 minutes, bo joy. I am showing no IP’s needing to be unlocked, so please help.
    I can get in to my wordpress site on my ipad using my internet on there, but not on my main computer

    ‘ERROR: We’re sorry, but this IP range has been blocked due to too many recent failed login attempts.

    Please try again later.’

    If you deleted the plugin then there is no way you should still be getting that message. My guess is that your browser has that page cached. Try clearing your cache and seeing if that works, or trying a different browser on the same computer. If neither of those help then please drop me an email at michael at endless poetry dot com and I will try and take a look.
