Split Level Membership

  • Hey there,

    Can anyone help me?

    I have a silver membership area on my website. Under this I want to offer 3 separate modules. They pay for each module separately – having a discount on the other 2 once they have bought the first module (could be any of the 3 on offer).

    Currently I have set it up so I have 3 separate membership levels (all called Silver – followed by the module name).

    Ideally I want people to be able to buy membership to the area and then be able to upgrade to buy the other 2. How could I do this in the most effective way?

    I have tried to register for 2 modules at the same time but it wants me to pay full price. I want to take away all the admin and get as much automation going as possible. I dont want to have to check my emails to then send a discount code…

  • Hey Gina,

    This might be a bit easier once we finish the multiple membership level upgrade, but for now you could accomplish this using the pmpro_checkout_level filter. For instance, you could check to see what modules were added, and adjust price based on that.
