Replacing [..] with a Read More button in excerpts

This is just using wordpress:

Just replace that “Read the full article…” with the string you want to display, and style it the way you want.
For example if you want a button like that one of the featured pages, use this:

<a class="moretag btn btn-primary" href="'. get_permalink($post->ID) . '"> Read More ?</a>

You can use a lot of preset buttons : https://www.themesandco.com/customizr/#buttons

so replace that
return '<a class="moretag" href="'. get_permalink($post->ID) . '"> Read the full article...</a>';
with
return ' <a class="moretag btn btn-primary" href="'. get_permalink($post->ID) . '">Read More ?</a>';
