multiple images with links on the same line

Hi,
I want to put multiple images in the same line on a page, each containing links to difference pages.
When I insert the image, click on image and insert URL of the page I want it to bring me to in Link URL that works fine for the first image in the line.
When I do the same for the second image in the line after I insert it WordPress also updates the Link URL of the first image inserted to be the same as the second.

If I put the images on two separate lines in the page the Link URL remains intact in both images, as soon as I put them on the same line again they both revert to being the same.

Any ideas, assistance, greatly appreciated.
