Not remembering comment form information

  • I operate WordPress blog and have administrator rights to another. On my blog, the comment form remembers the information that is submitted by the commenter, such as name, email address, and url. On the other blog, it does not. The blog owner is using Magazine Basic and I am using Atahualpa. For what it’s worth, I am friends with another blog owner who also uses Atahualpa and his comment form does not remember the information either.

    I have deactivated all plugins and the issue remains. I am open to suggestions.

    Not sure let give me a few more info.

    I am user is from system1 is commenting in the form and those information are displayed after click the comment button i am right?

    Now you are admin/user2 is from system2 is viewing the same post of who are all comment but that information is not available am i right?

    If the above both cases are true then looks like the comment is in moderation it should show only for the commented person alone not for all once the admin approve the comment then only system2 user can view the information.

    If both of them is not helps then let me know with little more info please ?

    I failed to mention that I also checked the cookies the blog is setting and they are correct. The blog is setting the correct cookies. I have also tried with three browsers and received the same results, so it is not a browser issue.

    I can give you the link to the second blog, but the first blog has Disqus enabled on it now. The blog owner is wanting to move away from that, but wants the comment form to remember the information first.

    The comments in question are comments that have been approved. They are showing up in the post and the dashboard, but even if the comment is approved instantly, the information is not saved in the comment form.
