How to make the parent link inactive

  • How to make the parent link inactive:
    in a menu i have Communities + as the parent to the following pages.
    Eagle Point
    Medford
    Seattle

    When I click on the plus sign and select the page it works fine.
    But if i click on the parent page Communities I get a blank page.
    How can I make it in active?
