Links Stopped working

Hi

I have 2 sites with this widget, my own and a clients. I just noticed that my clients, though it ‘looks’ fine, does not currently have ‘live’ links. I’ve no clue what could have changed. The site was fine and my own widget is working fine on my site.

(Only on the blog portion of the site)

I’ve compared the 2 sites – on my site where it is working, tags look like this in the source inspector:

on the client site where it stopped working the tags say span instead of ‘a’ –
