Strip initially flashes pink upon page load, after I've changed colours

Please can you help? This was originally posted by someone else, however this part of their problem never got solved and I’m now having the same problem!

I’ve changed the colour of the pink strip to lilac, but when the page first loads it initially flashes pink for a few seconds, before turning to the colour I’ve selected. Is there a way to stop it doing this?
