    @manq – My first thoughts are to the Permalinks you are using, you might try “post name” or “month name” as alternatives to your current settings under the WordPress Permalinks menu item; you may also want to look at turning on Ajax Pagination for those galleries as well.

    See if those ideas help to get this sorted out.
