Plugin Suggestion Request – a plugin that allows comments on individual images?

  • Hey guys, I’ve been struggling with nextgen gallery pro not working and having various bugs for months now, and the issues have not yet been resolved.

    Does anyone have any suggestion on an alternative gallery plugin for me?

    Necessary elements:
    ability to comment on individual photos
    ability to handle large number of photos (sometimes 100 in a gallery)

    Desired elements:
    ability to vote on individual photos
    looks nice
    loads fast
    manageable to use

    I’m reasonably sure that the built in WordPress gallery can do comments on individual photos as well as your necessary elements.

    Thanks for your response! I have found managing large galleries to be difficult using the wordpress native feature, but maybe the recent updates have made it more manageable. I also find the native viewing (with the lack of lightbox) to be quite difficult. Am I correct that to comment on an individual image within a wordpress native gallery it links to an attachment page? Are there any plugins that allow it to show in a lightbox and continue to allow commenting?
