Event Manager Pro – Reminder email

  • Hi

    I’m using event manager pro for some subscriptions to events.
    Problem is, when it’s 2 days till event, it sends a reminder.

    But attendees are getting 10 reminders, same mail over and over again.
    What could this be? :/

    Anyone a clue?

  • I am experiencing a similar issue, each attendee has received approximately 30-40 duplicate event reminder emails. Is there a possible cause or resolution for this issue?

    Hi midamericaweb,

    In my case all attendees received the mails about 70 times at the end. I’ve tried on the EMP forum and they told me that it was a problem with my hosting company. the MySQL PHP query or something got interrupted.
    You should check your error logs if you have a message.
    It seemed that while sending the reminder, the connection got lost and ended up in a loop, so it kept on sending the mail.
    However I can not provide you with an answer that helps you out. In my case I ended up disabling the reminder mails..
