Email to pending Users

    Subscribe2 offers a solution to this by allowing filtering of the results of the database users searches. There are 4 possible hooks for each of the per-post emails named:
    s2_send_plain_excerpt_subscribers
    s2_send_plain_fullcontent_subscribers
    s2_send_html_excerpt_subscribers
    s2_send_html_fullcontent_subscribers

    There is also a hook for digest emails – s2_registered_subscribers.
