Disable Lightbox on mobile devices – responsive

Hi, Id like to only use the lightbox on desktop devices. My thumbnails are big enough and I do not need to display it with a lightbox on mobile devices.
Is there a way to disable it, when ever the mobile / responsive navigation is active, or with media queries?
