Parse error in plugin (newbie question)

Hi,
I just created my first plugin – using some software that I bought to help.
I followed all the instructions (I know nothing about coding and this software is supposed to help avoid that complication).
Everything seemed to go to plan until I installed the plugin and when activated, I got the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_DNUMBER, expecting ‘(‘ in /home/content/13/8475413/html/bookpressrelease.info/wp-content/plugins/WPNewsRoom_v1.2/index.php on line 24

Line 24 of index.php reads: $(‘iframe’).contents().find(‘h1’).attr(‘contenteditable’, ‘false’);

Is this something simple I can fix? I looked for missing commas, etc. and extra spaces, but found nothing.
