Gallery displaying images on a new page after clicking on it

I had the same problem and was able to fix it correcting the file path to the lightbox plugin.

I’m not sure why, but after updating it, it changed the file path to the lightbox and everything got back to normal.

@renato Alves – Thanks for the tip but what you are referring to is the path structures as you would expect to see them in versions earlier than 2.0.57 … those paths now use a relative URL structure not the absolute paths you are showing.

Good to know! I agree that relative path is the best way to go. But in this particular case, it failed to work.

I use NextGen in other websites, local and web based, and haven’t had the same problem. =)

@renato Alves – This is even more interesting to know that you are seeing varying results, were you able to troubleshoot to a point why you needed to go with the absolute paths on that installation?

Yes, I was.

After updating the plugin to version 2.0.40. Now I updated to the lastest version, 2.0.58, and haven’t had the same problem.

Ok I updated to 2.0.58. (I was actually under 57) Anyway, didn’t change anything, still experiencing the exact same issue.

After upgrade i have same problems – blog images aren’t opened in lightbox but in a new window…
