  • Hello J, what version of WordPress are you using?

This method was introduced in 3.7, it seems we need to update the minimum WP version requirement for Stream for this reason.

Yeah that must be it. I have an older WP install.

    Thanks for the quick response.

Do you happen to have an older version that might work with 3.6.1 ?

Unfortunately we do not, it seems that this method was introduced way back in version 0.2. Our apologies for not catching the 3.6 incompatibility sooner.

It’s more important than ever to keep WordPress up-to-date because the release cycles are much shorter now. Version 3.9 is just on the horizon within the next few weeks.

No worries. I’m just trying to update live sites to the latest version of wordpress but doing it on a dev site as to make sure I don’t break the live site but I want to track if anything changes while I’m working on the duplicate. what a conundrum… ??

    Thanks again

Oh totally! We really do want to make Stream compatible as far back as we can, but it seems 3.7 is the bare minimum right now.

    Makes sense. no sweat.

I did find simple history which seems to work on 3.6, in case someone else has the same issue and finds this thread. well it is working at least on one of my my two problematic sites. ha.

Not as robust as stream but ti will do for now. ??
