FTP FileZilla and Theme

  • Hi guys i am kinda new here , so today i created my first wordpress website and i bought a theme from themeforest . I tried to find the install button in the appearance tab but i couldn’t find it so i downloaded filezilla but i don’t know what to put in Host , username and password
    could you please help me setup my theme ?

    Hey,

    Host = https://ftp.yourhost.com (or your host IP)

    User: Your username with the host or your FTP useraccount (given by your host)

    Password = Your username password (if it’s the same as your host account, as the previous, or a specific password for a specified FTP-account)

    Got this info from another question similar to this, hope this works.

    i don’t know what to put in Host , username and password

    We can’t help you with that, you need to talk to your hosting providers about these credentials if you’re trying to install themes via FTP.
