• I would like to autopopuate a custom field called song when I save my WordPress posts from the “Write” page in the admin section. This would be like the “Listening to” portion you see on posts made to Livejournal, Pmachine, etc.

Any idea how to do this ? I know I can make a custom field and manually populate it but that seems a waste of time. Certainly there is a widget out there that will help with this task?

For an example look at the monkeybit.com website, the post called “Smart Homes” has it manually entered.

  • Wouldn’t, or couldn’t one of the plugins from here do that? Just was wondering..

You can do this by using iScrobbler from Last.fm – Just install the iScrobbler plugin into iTunes, then sign up for last.fm and you’ll get a feed of your recently played tunes. Then you can put the RSS feed into your blog however you like ??

(check out my sidebar at https://www.jowie.net/blog)

    hope this helps.
