Simple custom post template

Hi all

I am trying to find out how to create a custom post template. All I want is put a simple border around my text content. I am using a plugin called Question and Answer Forum for my blog posts which defines these posts as “questions”. Don’t know if this complicates things

Could anyone point me in the right direction?
