• In running my code through W3C, I notice that it constantly tags the image function in WP as an error since the function does not add an alt. This means any time I add an image to a post I need to go in and edit the code to add the alt. This has caused me to now just put in my images as straight code since the image button requires an edit anyway. Will this be corrected in new versions of WP? I am running 2.03 and mainly use Firefox, but check my site in Explorer just to be sure readers have no problems there.

  • Do you upload your images from the inline upload thing under the Write post?
If yes, whatever you put in the “title” filed – will be automatically the “alt” for that image. At least in 2.0.4.

Upgrade, your version has quite a few bugs…

And if you want a better way to handle image insertions/uploads/thumbnails, get Image Manager from https://soderlind.no
