I am in the middle of developing a site for a community website. If i view source of the output page, save it as a html and view in any browser, it looks exactly like how i designed it.

But after 3.8.1 install 2 days ago, the wp-includes admin-bar.php is hard coding a push down css of 32px. i just think this is a bad way of doing it.

I am not using any framework or existing theme. Most centered themes are showing up liquid and stretched. The body {text-align:center} and #wrap{width:980px;margin:0 auto;} is just not working.

Would really appreciate a reply, as i am supposed to deliver the site this weekend, and am royally stuck. I do not want to go back in the WP version, as it is a security rollout.

    Thanks, Lak

You’ll need to link to a page with the issue

    Dear Andrew,

After you asked for a link, i uploaded the site to an online server. I was developing in MAMP. As soon as i uploaded it to an online server, the page rendered the way it is supposed to. ??

Dont know whats happening to my local MAMP setup.

So i shall close the issue and get back if i have to again.

    Thanks, Lak
