installed theme caused wordpress to crash

  • I just installed the theme and it has caused wordpress to crash. the theme is on my webpage, however I can’t see my dashboard.

    In this kind of situations you can deactivate a theme or plugin ‘manually’. With FTP or your web hosting company’s file browser, please go to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the faulty theme’s folder name to something like theme-bad so this way WordPress cannot find the theme files, and will fall back to some other installed theme, usually to one of twenty- themes.
