Constant Contact Add-On Activation

  • Got this error message when trying to activate the Constant Contact add-on this morning:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in /home/impmedia/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pmpro-constant-contact/pmpro-constant-contact.php on line 15

  • I had that on one of my sites. My problem was that I was using another Constant Contact plugin (either CTCT form designer and CTCT widget 2.0).
    I did not understand what the problem was until I added the pmpro CTCT plugin to another site and did not have the problem. I think they conflict with each other.
