Add another Slider on top of grid on home page

  • Hi I’d like to add a large image slider on the home page after the main menu but above the grid. I can add on every other page except the homepage.

    If I select the front page to have posts and not a static page for example, then it means it will only place grid and other posts there and no other content?

    Please help?

    Hi,

    Currently you can only either add the slider or the grid as featured content and regular posts under that.

    An alternative would be to have the featured content set as slider and the regular posts output in a grid – and this is the alternative I’m currently working on.

    Is that what you are looking for?

    I was looking for a large slider. If I select “1” instead of 3 or 4 on the posts to show one the grid, would that word the same way as a banner slider?

    1 for the grid set up wont work as the width is pre calculated to 33.3333% for the 3 grid and 24.9999% for the 4 grid.

    You can get a banner type if you select 1 post for the slider – the results would be like here: https://www.wpstrapcode.com/almasi/

    If you are looking for the slider to span the entire width of the screen then that option is coming up in the next update.
