Weird text characters appearing in posts

  • I’ve recently moved to a new server and weird text characters are showing up in posts which weren’t there on the old server: For example https://www.newcastle-online.com/?p=271

    Lots of a€? and a€?

    Is this a WordPress issue or a server issue?

    How can I cut those out to display proper characters such as ” symbols for quotations and ‘ for commas.
