I have a WordPress (3.8.1) blog at https://www.dcslocalbranch.com. On the home page there is “Open modal” text at the end of every post. They are like links but do not work. When you click on i.e. open a post, there is not this text anymore. I would like to remove this useless part, but do not know how. Perhaps one of the plugins cause this. Could you help, please?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

Thanks for you reply. I was able to find the plugin which caused this issue. By deactivating the plugin “open modal” text disappeared.
