News Sitemaps – include custom post types?

Although I can see how to include custom post types in the regular XML Sitemap, I cannot find the option for doing it in the News Sitemap.
We need to be able to include CPT’s other than ‘Post’ because much of the news our site published happens in other post types.
Here is our regular Sitemap:

Here is our News Sitemap:
