Comments on Page Template E-mailed like Post Comments

    I created a Page template by copying the single.php page and renaming it. This way people can comment on particular pages. The comments work and they show up in the Manage–>Comments area, but they are not e-mailed to me like are when someone comments on a blog post.

    How do I fix that?

  • I’m not sure.. I just made a page that uses the comment form, and I don’t get email either.. Doesn’t really matter too much though. Comments on pages still show up on the dashboard..

    Just the same, I enjoy the convenience of notification.

    I see what the problem is. If you are logged in and leave a comment, it won’t e-mail you because you should know that you just left that comment. But if joe shmoe unregistered leaves a comment it will e-mail you. So, nothing is broken folks. Carry on.
