Accidentaly created two home pages. Can't delete "dummy" page
-
Total newbie here. Dummy page appears to be something I accidentally created when I started building the site and has been given the url ending in /dir./. (Note, this site is being built to replace an old HTML site. I wrote the new site. The designer/developer of the original site has left the firm.) Just to the left of the first Home page is the actual home page which links with all the other pages on the site in exactly the way I intended. The dummy page links to nothing, yet it is what comes up if you type in our URL and /dir./. Every other page allows me to edit or even delete the page. This aberrant dummy pate, which appears to be a blog page has no such options. I cant edit it, can’t change the URL and can’t delete it. Like anybody who has a gun to their head, I raced through the creation of this site without going through the tutorial. Now my boss has a round in the chamber, wanting to go live tomorrow and I have no idea how to fix this, nor does anything in the support community deal with such a problem. Please help. Seriously. She really does own two guns and knows how to use them.
