    How about syncing or cloning or exporting?

    @TheHackRepairGuy .. good point.
    @ovidiu .. also great point.

    It would be awesome if there was a way to suck the Sandbox site back into the original site, or export it as a new site, etc. Great ideas!! I would love to see the developer’s thoughts.

    Me too @gary – can we ever publish the “sandbox” mode site into the live site? That’s what I need! ?? Great plugin.

    Same questions as above. How do you install the sandbox once complete? or is this plugin just meant for testing before a live install/modification is made? Has anyone else any ideas or progress?

    Currently the plugin only creates the sandbox for testing changes. I’ve used it mostly for testing plugin upgrades on e-commerce sites.

    Exporting it would be pretty straight forward and I will provide an update with that feature shortly. I’m also looking at what would be involved in adding a comparison capability and then based on the comparison some sort of migration from a sandbox to the live site. Moving changes back into the live site without breaking things could get a little tricky.

    Over all a feature for safely migrating from a sandbox to live would be pretty involved and I just wanted to see how much interest there was in the plugin before I adding it.

    I’d like to vote for this feature!!!
    (If other’s knew you were considering to add it, I’m sure you’d get a lot of interest.)

    @barteled: awesome! I thought you had abandoned this awesome sounding project. there is definitely demand for something like this.

    I’m definitely interested in getting the sandbox onto the live site.
