Live Preview Screen for Theme is Blank White

  • I am considering changing themes and when I click on the ‘Live Preview Button’ I see the configuration choices of the theme on the left hand side of the screen but the rest of the screen is completely blank white.

    Any ideas as to why?

  • Sounds like the theme you are trying to preview is broken. What theme is it? Where did you download it from?

    IT’s actually all of the ones available including the WP ones such as twenty-eleven, twenty-twelve, etc….

    As well as a theme or two from Woothemes!

    Again it’s all of them!

    Can you replicate the problem whilst using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    Don’t know but I will try…

    the only plugins I really use are Akisment, Discus, and Blubrry Powerpress along with a social sharing plugin.

    If I deactivate all of them to try can I then just reactive them without having to go through and set each of them up again with their individualized settings?

    Your theme & plugin settings are saved in your database and should be retained for future use.

    Hi can you tell me what you did to fix this? I am having the same problem, in a fresh new website.
