Full post on home but with "Read More" if wanted?

    I wanted full posts on the homepage. The link below gave the correct code which worked. However, if I have a post that I want to add the “Read More” feature on, it cuts off properly but doesn’t have the Read More link. How can I get that on there if I want it for a certain post?

    Under settings -> reading: I have full text selected for “For each article in a feed, show…”

    Under Appearance -> Theme Options -> Blog: I have “Enable excerpt for blog posts?” as Yes and “Enable read more button for blog posts?” as yes.
