Need Default Value for Drop-Down

I need default value to be set as “Unverfied” in the dropdown this drop down is a hidden field and whenever somebody register the admin has to go to that profile and select it to unverfied and then save but i need the default value should go to database directly whenever someone registers.

Unless admin doesnt do it value isnt set here for custom fields
