Why no photos in my jetpack subscription emails?

  • I’m using the jetpack subscriber service to manage my subscriber list. When an email goes out to my subscribers, no photos are ever attached. I’d like to have the first photo be sent to make it look more interesting. No photo shows up in the wordpress reader blurb either. I don’t want to send out the whole the blog post in an email, and I want the whole post on my home page. Therefore, the show full text and then using “insert more tag” doesn’t work. Bloggers using wordpress.com don’t seem to have this issue.
