Categories independent of post categories

    Hello,

    This tool is excellent however I was surprised to see it integrating with my website post categories.

    I was expecting to create-from-scratch my own media categories with no synchronization with the blog categories.

    This is for a WooCommerce situation where the store images (100’s of product photos) need to have no relation to the blog post. Multiple users will be using the system and I want the blog and store as separate as possible.

    By default the WordPress Media Library uses the same categories as WordPress does (such as in posts & pages).

    Starting from version 1.4.4 you can use separate categories for the WordPress Media Library. See the FAQ for a howto.
