Hopeful, then very disappointed

I must say, I was hopeful when I discovered this plugin. It didn’t take long to be terribly disappointed, however.
First of all, WHY don’t you mention anywhere that the images will have an overlay over them? I assume this is true for the free version only, but there is NO WARNING in your write-up about it. It reads like it will work just fine with the free version. Why hide the fact that it will look like hell until you fork over some dough? Just be honest.
Secondly, some features don’t work anyway. Like the ‘full screen’ – it displays the image BELOW the entire site! You can see them in the margins behind the site, but that’s it.
Third, it’s poorly set up. You should allow the thumbnails to show below the slider, for one thing, so people can pick from the gallery – that’s why it’s called a “gallery”! This would be much better for desktop viewing, and in my opinion, better for devices as well.
Then it should go full screen once you pick an image to start with, and be able to go back to the gallery when you want.
Meanwhile, we’ll keep looking for a real swipeable solution for NextGen.
