Plugin as worked like a champ for more than a year on my site. I recently went into the settings and changed the email address it was sending the form submissions to.

After making this change, I haven’t been able to receive email.

I changed it back to the previous email and still not working. Got me a bit baffled.

I tried toggling from the WordPress Default to SMTP to no avail. Now moved it back again.

I installed the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin and it’s sending fine via the default.

I’ve deactivated, deleted and reinstalled. Still not working. Any ideas on ways I can troubleshoot this?

    Thanks!

  • I have the same issue. I’ve searched every corner of the Internet that I can think of to try to find a solution. I use Custom Contact Forms on several websites. The first site had issues with sending emails about 6 months ago. I have had two more develop the same issue since.

I have tried toggling and all of the other suggestions with no help.

I am having the same problem. Is there a solution yet? I love the plugin and I hope I don’t have to ditch it.

Maybe DON’T install other SMTP plugins to resolve the issue.

First, update to the newest version of BOTH WordPress and Custom Contact
Second, use Custom Contact’s built in SMTP
Third, make sure your SMTP settings are correct for YOUR HOST.

(Make sure you have not installed another plugin that conflicts!, such as your new SMTP ones)

    Forth, profit.

I’m on Bluehost with over 20 clients all updating (WP and Plugins) and running this plugin. So far zero defects.
