    Hello,

    Thanks so much for this plugin! I have been battling with how to do this for a long time!

    Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with the syncing aspect of the plugin. I have installed and activated it. When I go to create a dummy account to test it, I enter the first and last name and then activate the account. Unfortunately, the first and last names do not show up in the users section in the backend, or on the buddypress profile page.

    Any thoughts on what this might be?

    That’s not much info to go on. Can you be more specific about the process you’re using to create the account and the environment you’re using.

    Yes, sorry. At work and was rushing to get that out. What sort of information would help? Plugins? Themes? Anything else?

    Have you tried the plugin without your other plugins? It could be that one of them is interfering. Likewise the theme – does it work if you switch to another? Which version of WordPress and BuddyPress are you using?

    Hi Christian,

    Found it. The plugin BP-Registration-Options was preventing it from working. Fortunately, I don’t really need this plugin anymore and was thinking of deactivating it anyway.

    Thanks for letting me know Patrick – much appreciated. It’s a plugin that I’m aware of and have used myself so I will look into why this might be. Hopefully there’ll be a fairly straightforward fix.

    No worries — thanks for the fantastic plugin! I am not a programmer and every solution that I found before this one was well beyond my ability. There are lots of (old) very angry threads around about this issue, so you are definitely fulfilling a need here!
