  • @mike58 The titles are displayed through the template, so I guess you have a theme that doesn’t display titles on pages.

    Hello and thanks for answering!

I now talk only about names on albums. (not titles on pages)
The names on my albums wont show. (I only get a few letters display from the galleries within…)

Everything else seems to work fine in the nextgen-beta

I have Genesis Framework with Dynamiks regarding the themes.

    Regards!

@mike58 A link to the problem would be useful

    No problem.

As you can see – there is no name on the album and the letters below is from the gallery within.

If there was a quick fix to this it would be very nice.
I′ve looked into every setting – and research on the net – but have no solution.

    Thanks for support!

    @mike58 – This may be a bit involved …

Currently your theme is setting the font-size from this file:
    https://arkiv.mickansandelin.se/arkiv/wp-content/uploads/dynamik-gen/theme/dynamik-min.css?ver=1392830581

NextGEN Gallery takes into account the width (and height) of the area where the gallery title is displayed and uses the bundled dotdotdot.js library to handle the overflow of the text.

I would suggest some Custom CSS to set that text to a smaller size than 2.6rem which is the current size being used.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.

@mike58 From your question I believe you haven’t clear the album-gallery structure.
An album page is intended as a multiple galleries container, showing 1 thumb for each gallery.
So that one single thumb represent the gallery, hence the gallery name, KRETA.
Create a page with the album title, it will display in the place of “Galleri Kreta” (and correct the URL by hand), and below you’ll have KRETA, RHODI, etc.: your galleries, which will display all single thumbs for each gallery. You can also have sub-albums if you want another album containing other albums, which in turn will contain galleries.
And if you are referring also to the size of the title and the dots, Cais has already answered.

    Thanks for help!

I changed themes to twenty thirteen but no name still.
    https://arkiv.mickansandelin.se/arkiv/galleri-kreta
Now I get no album name but whole galleryname
    (the album-name is KRETA – 2012)

Understand completely if there is some extra config in themes like Dynamiks – but – shouldn′t this work on the standard themes…?

Am I still supposed to config the CSS here…?

    Regards!

    Ok. Thanks.
Now I understand – kind of my fault.
Thought the album out of the box would be a thumbnail containing the galleries – but it seems to be an invisible category.
My solution was to put an album within an album – and then get the visible album-thumbnail-containers.

Regarding the pagetitle I don′t know how it connect to this – but thanks for the CSS-tips. I will bear it in mind.

No bugs as far as I can see in the Nextgen-beta!

Thanks again for help – as I must publish this now!

    Best Wishes!;)
