• I’m currently using a page I designed as my home page, a WordPress theme as connected blog.

I’d like to change to using a theme as my home page as well. It would be the 2 column version of the 3 column blog I’m already using.

How can I do this? I’ve already uploaded the new theme, but can’t figure out how to access it.

Do I need to upload a whole new WordPress?

  • If you have a 2nd domain then yes, you need another copy of WordPress running on that domain.

I don’t grasp. I have one domain and added a WP blog to it, and I’d like to use another for my mainpage since it would be more functional for me than the one I built.

I want to replace the existing main page, pointing the same address to a new main page, which I would still link to my blog.

I’m sorry, I should’ve given my link in the first place to make it clearer. I basically just want to rebuild my main page using the template I used for the blog, but a 2 column instead of three.
