Centos 6.5 WordPress User Permissions

    Hi guys,
    I have installed Centos 6.5 and WordPress 3.8.1 on my http server.

    I am having difficulty figuring out users and permissions.

    1. do i need the same user accounts in both WordPress and Centos Server in order to allow plugin installs etc without having to use ftp???

    2. when i installed wordpress and mysql database, i have a user in mysql called ‘wordpressuser’. should that user be used in file and folder permissions (eg 755 for updating plugins)

    3. Can i use the admin account from wordpress in Centos server and assign 755 permissions that that user, so plugins can be installed etc?

    I need a step by step explanation
