A little help with restricted access error messages

I have set up my membership options page, restrictions to certain pages, but the only thing I have left to do to roll this website out soon is to set up error messages properly for restricted access.

I have some shortcodes working correctly, such as if they are logged out/not level 0, they are redirected to the membership options page, and only see a specific error message, instructing them to register.
For level 1, no errors appear, which is the desired behavior.
However, for level 0 (waiting admin approval for level 1 access since we’re not taking payments online) needs an error message only when trying to access restricted content. What is a proper shortcode for something like this? Is it specific with pages and their IDs, or is it simpler than that? There are only a couple restricted pages, really.
Please let me know soon. This is the only thing left to do before rolling out. Thank you!
