    I’ve been using the NextScripts WordPress plugin for about a year with hardly any problems but when I upgraded to NextScripts v. 3.2.0 I got a message that said “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

    With each new version I’ve upgraded hoping the fatal error issue would be resolved but it hasn’t. I deactivated all of my other plugins and tried to run the Nextscripts without any other hoping I could identify the plugin conflict (if there is one) but I still got the same message. I have submitted a ticket on this issue and not heard back. Please help.

    It would help to answer your question if you tell us exactly what kind of fatal error you are getting.

    I copied the error just as it appears in the WordPress system administration panel. There is no other information. I am giving you everything that I see in the panel. You say I should tell you the kind of fatal error. I don’t know where to find more information on the kind of fatal error. Where do I look to find more information?

    try to open wp-config.php and change

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );

    to

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );

    Please try activate plugin after that, it could give you more info.

    Also please try to remove plugin folder completely and re-install it. (this won’t affect your settings)

    I changed the debug from false to true and also deleted the plugin folder. I then installed the plugin and got the following message:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    None of those are the “fatal” errors. Actually none of those are errors at all, they just notices.

    Was the plugin installed and activated correctly?

    I installed and activated it in the same manner I’ve used dozens of times. I used to install via ftp now I use the WP System Admin panel. I go to

    plugins>add new

    I just looked at it again and see another notice:

    Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$slug in /var/www/laprogressive.com/wp-content/plugins/nxs-snap-pro-upgrade/nxs-snap-pro-upgrade.php on line 76

    THANK YOU for fixing my problem!!

    I have the exact same issue that you had mentioned above, what did resolve your situation?

    I desactivated, updated and then boum: fatal error on activate! I am stuck here.
    Thanks for the advice, I am waiting for customer support as well through ticket support

    Nevermind, reslved it on my own. Maybe it should be added to troubleshooting. If you have a pro version and you want to desactivate the plugin, you have to completely delete de pro version helper before reactivating the general version of auto poster. Just did it and I could reactivate it. Now trying to reinstall the pro version on top.
