    Hi!

I am using the Pinboard theme latest version and it seems as if there is some Javascript issue with the latest Adrotate causing several things to stop working in the theme, primarily the slider and the infinite scroll for articles on the front page. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Thanks!

Ok, finally find a solution after a day of messing about. In the AdRotate settings “Load jQuery ShowOff” should be set to on.

Sounds more like a issue with the otherplugins failing to load jQuery than anything to do with AdRotate.

Lucky for you you can manually add jQuery with AdRotate to fix that flaw ??

Well Pinboard is a theme and not a plugin, but it does load Javascript for sliders and “infinite scroll” av articles, so yes it is related. And like I said; setting “Load jQuery ShowOff” to on in AdRotate fixes the issue.

Right, but if your theme/plugin/whatever needs jquery.showoff it should load it by itself.
Meaning that if you need AdRotate to include that file it still wouldn’t have worked if AdRotate wasn’t installed.

    Thus your theme is flawed.

Honestly, I have no clue here and maybe you are right, but the theme’s slider and article scroll works with AdRotate disabled, so I am not so sure what you say is correct. And when AdRotate is active, enabling the showoff for some reason makes the slider etc work properly again.

    That’s odd indeed ??
