OXYGEN SLIDER- No "location" option under screen options menu for a sticky post

  • Hey friends-

    I have followed all of the steps to make the Slider in Oxygen as listed by the Oxygen developer here: https://alienwp.com/documentation/oxygen-theme-documentation/

    HOWEVER, when I get to Step 4 and it says to choose “Location” under “Screen Options” and I pull up “Screen Options” there is NOT a “Location” option. This makes developing my slider impossible.

    I have seen posts in other threads with this problem, but they were not resolved. Can someone please help me out there? ??

  • I have this same problem with the location option not appearing. Will let you know if I find a solution, I even have tutorials from lynda.com but following their directions it seems I dont have all the options on my theme as they do?

    Hey @biddlesan- I never did find a solution to this. My slider ended up working when I changed the photo size per the Oxygen directions though. I think the only way to get those options must be to purchase the $30 pack. Hope this helps!

    I have had this problem as well and no one has responded to my request for help. Can you please let me know more what you meant when you say you changed the photo size? Did you location option come up? I am wondering whether it is worth upgrading to get all the features, if I can get them without that would be great. ??
