Create circles with picture but no link

  • Hi there

    I’m working on a site using the Spun template and am having a bit of an issue with my homepage. Ive looked through the forums and I think a few people raised the same problem but don’t think this query was ever resolved.

    What I want to create is a post circle on my homepage that displays the featured image but doesn’t actually link through to a post

    For example – the pictures currently shown on this page https://www.dryehudigordon.com/wordpress/ I want to remain but for there to be no click through link on them

    I’m using a child theme of Spun so was wondering if there was a piece of code that can be added or taken away from my content-home.php to disable the featured image link?

    If someone can help me out would be appreciated

    You could create a custom field of a checkbox that appears when you edit each post (in the dashboard). Then configure the content-home.php file to not output the anchor tags if that checkbox has been checked.
