Background that spans entire width of site

  • Okay, what I’d like to accomplish is something like https://ualr.edu is doing on their web site. I’ve tried added a div to wrap the whole page then leave the content wrapper but not having any luck.

    Any suggestions or has anyone else implemented this?

    In case anyone else runs into this – if a background image is set within the WP admin, it will override any background image you try to set in CSS.

    I’m still trying to figure out the best route to implement what I’m looking for. At this point I’m looking at setting a background image for the entire page & setting the interal div’s to transparent. My concern is responsiveness..

    Any suggestions???
