• I just tested my WordPress blog with my mobile phone for the first time and was able to post an entry to my Blog.

However, on my computer in the Write a new entry section there is also a part where you can upload files, but when I am writing a post on my Mobile Phone this section is missing.

The only sections I see are things like Edit Timestamp, Optional Excerpt and Custom Fields.

Does anyone know if there is another way to make a posting via your Mobile Phone and also upload an image to go with it?

I have the Nokia N70 it’s a Symbian OS on Vodafone here in the UK.

    Cheers

  • try putting the mini-opera browser on it and seeing if that handles the xhtml form better – if your using the inbuilt wap browser (not used an N70 so not sure which browser it has) it may not parse

I have downloaded the mini-opera browser to my phone and tried on that.

It does seem to bring up the the upload section when you write a post, however it doesn’t bring up the browse button within that section so you can select an image on your phone to upload to your blog, which is a great shame.

So it doesn’t look like the mobile opera version can do it either for word press.
