WooCommerce Integration

I found this topic to integrate the plugin to WooCommerce, but haven’t tried this hack. The main reason is that after each WooCommerce update, I’ll have to make the mods to the files again. Is there any way in which I can do the same via hooks & filters using my theme’s functions.php file?
